Son of James Nevard and Annie (nee Walker) born in 1914 at Malling. His father was born at Horn's Green, Cudham in 1877 while his grandfather, John, was working locally on a farm.
Stirling LK195 fail to return from Dutch operations. The mission had been to drop supplies to the Dutch resistance in the province of North Holland.
